Hi. I don't have a date yet but am hoping for a mid-July surgery. I will have mine done in Wareham, Tobey Hospital. It is a local hospital, real small. What part of Mass are you from?

I am currently undergoing all of the preliminary appts. with the hope of being banded in July. Are there any other Massachusetts bandsters out there who have had or will have their surgery at Tobey Hospital in Wareham? The only folks I know who have used this surgery team have had full gastric bypass. Please send me a note if you are a patient of Dr. Kruger or Dr. Streeter. I'd love to hear about your journey and share mine with you as well. Thanks.

Hi. We are neighbors here in Massachusetts. Did you have your surgery at Tobey Hospital? I am currently going through all of the pre-op stuff there and hope to be banded in July. Sorry to hear about all of the issues that have come up for you. Hope every day gets a little better and the band is all that you hoped it would be. Keep in touch and feel better soon.

I am in the mid stages of planning for Lap Band too. My surgery should be mid July if all goes well. I made the decision after much research and failed dieting. My sister in law is also getting banded, most likely in June. Everyone on the site seems hopeful. The whole "something is stuck" scares me though. Best of luck on your journey.

I discovered this site last evening while reading about Lap Band surgery. I have started the journey and hope to be banded in mid July. I have appts. with nutritionist, psychologist and surgeon in April. I am very nervous but find that this is a common emotion. Alot of people on the site have faced the same thing. I look forward to exchanging ideas on this site. One question....what is sliming?
