My surgery is scheduled for April 27, One week to go. I'v lost 5 lbs my first week with one week to go. I have been so hungry. Good luck with your surgery, I'll be thinking about and wishing it was me in there. Let me know how it goes.

Hey Kitty Had my appt. with Dr. Luck on 2/3/09, Had a seminar with him and two other ladies then a private meeting with him, also private appt with Jimmie the NP all in the same morning. I have another appt with him on 4/23. Good luck..VaDarlene

I'm in Roanoke,VA. My pre-op is Breakfast and lunch a liquid protein drink and for dinner a lean cusine,WW or healthy choice dinner. I'm so glad its not all liquid Good luck on your journey

Hi Kittygirl I.m from the Roanoke area also. I'm being banded on 4/27 and my Dr. is Lucktong. I start my pre-op diet on Monday. I been spending the last couple week preparing mentally and now I'm ready to be banded and start a new life. When is your banding date and your dr.:cool2:

:sad: Surgery on 4/27/09, Emotions all over the place, excited but nervous to do pre-op diet, starts day after Easter. Just don't know how I'll make it through those 2 weeks. suggestions welcome:scared2:

So sorry about your cancellation, that kind of stuff can make you crazy. I saw your VA Tech logo, do you live in that area. I'm from Roanoke VA. Hope you have a quick reschedule. I just got my surgery date of 4/27 this morning and my emotions are all over the place Keep us updated Darlene

Waiting to set surgery date. Did not have to do blood gas test or Sleep study. I'm 62 and am happy to see others in my age group. I hope my weight lost will be better [and faster] with the band.

Just heard from Dr. all pre-op test ready to go,will set surgery date any day now, will need to do a two week liquid diet.

:smile2:Hi, I'm a lapband virgin at this time,but going through pre-op testing at this time. Surgery date not set yet. Just soaking up all the info I can. I,m also type II diabetic suffering from knee and hip pain. The liquid diets before and after make me nervous but living with this pain and diabetes really scare me. I really want to get this show on the road.
