  1. I have a surgery date of May 7th. I am waiting for approval from the insurance company. My doctor puts everyone on a 6 week medifast liquid diet. UGH it's very hard. I just started it on Thursday. Does anyone else have to do it that long? I think they said 6 weeks is the minimum time they do. I'm a bit worried about 500 calories a day for 6 weeks but they have a VERY good reputation so they must know. It's hard though. I don't get why you cannot have any solid food at all. Like some celery ? A cucumber? LOL Medisfast doesn't taste that good either. The dutch chocolate is ok and so is the swiss mocha, but the other flavors are all horrible. YUCK
