  1. I'm scheduled for surgey on 6/18 - 44 days to go!. I started counting at 73 days. I've been onthe Opti-Fast diet for 4 weeks now and am down 17 lbs. It's tough but I walk every day and try to stay close to the diet. I'm not nervous at all about the surgery - I wish I could have it tomorrow! Since I have more that half my body weight to loose, the sooner I get started the better!
  2. Thanks! Best of luck to you too!
  3. Ok, so I finally scheduled my initial consultation. I've been wanting to get banded for years but kept putting it off. Now that I have my initial appointment, I don't want to wait! My insurance requires a 6 month supervised diet in order to quality for coverage. I don't get it - if I was successful at dieting I wouldn't need the band. Anyway, was wondering if there were any specific questions that I should ask the doctor or my insurance co. I already was advised to ask if fills were covered by insurance - never would have thought to ask that!
