  1. 17 lbs is amazing! Don't panick about your little cheats. You can jump right back on track. The pre-op diet is mainly for the purpose of shrinking your liver durging surgery to decrease bleeding and after a 17 lbs weight loss I'm sure you should be fine. I had my surgery just a little over a month ago and trust me, The night before the big op day..I broke down, and had anxiety, and cried. But the next day..I was up and ready to go. The surgery was such a cake walk. Easier than the pre-op diet. It went so smoothly and I have never ever regretted it. I think you are doing a great thing for you and your health and of course it's natural to be nervous but once it's done and over with you will be saying "Oh was that all?"
  2. Hey Everyone! I was banding March 09, 2009 too! Has anyone found that the pre-op diet and two weeks post op diet the weight seems to just fall right off. But now..I have not lost a lb in the last week and a half to two weeks. I'm so bummed. I can't wait until my first fill on April 14th. How is every one elses?
  3. I don't know if I can help. But I'm certainly glad that you posted this. I'm 28 days post op and in the last two weeks...I've lost probably 3 pounds. I lost more in my pre-op diet. I'm not eating bad! I'm a lot more active! Is it because I don't have my first fill yet? Thank you for posting this so I can maybe get some help with your replies. Let's stay positive..I'm certain things will start going our way right?
  4. Hey Everyone! I'm in Midvale Utah. I was Banded March 9th exactly two weeks ago today. The support group that my Dr's office has actually turned out to be a pissing match between the patients who used to be nurses and the nurses who are still working. It's ubsurd and not supportive at all.
  5. Hey Everyone! I'm brand new to the Forum. I was Banded two weeks ago today! So far recovery is going great. I love my band already. But I really, really need some buddies! I'm really not all that good at forums or figuring everything out...but I'm trying!
