OHH yes, I have had an overfill! My 3rd fill and it was 2 cc well I noticed a tightness when I left the doctor's office and the doc asked me, "are you OK, do you need me to take out any" and I said, "No, i'll be oK" well that was on a Friday and had a hard time getting even Water down. I could only take sips of water and gatoaide, and Protein Shakes that weekend. I was miserable with gas and heartburn and couldn't get anything down without pain like a knot in my throat. I immediately called that Monday and got an unfill Tuesday of 1 cc. I feel great!! If your doctor is a good one, and mine is, she didn't mind taking out. I asked her what if I get hungry again, she said just come back, no problem.... take care... lapband is wonderful.... i am now at my goal weight of 153 lbs... and loving it!!!

Help, I got my band in Sept 09 and almost to my goal, about 20 lbs away, have lost 40. I am 53 and started to work out three weeks ago, since then I noticed that my hunger has increased ten times. I have had two fills one in 10/09 and 11/09, does this mean I need another fill? The hunger pains are so bad, just I had before my surgery. Funnyface.

Yes, mee too, LOL, I had the lapband 5 months ago and my OBGYN told me to get off the hormone patch because I am too old, 53 and my dose was too high. I got off cold turkey, for two months I was in a blur of memory bleeps, hot flashes like crazy, couldn't stop them. So I went back on hormone patch at the minimum dose and felt relief within 24 hours. Get off hormoes slowly. funnyface
