  1. Hi I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on toning hard places? Or good tips for toning... I have lost weight and now have flabby arms and loose skin in the neck area. Thanks:wink2:
  2. I also have a 14 cc band. I had my first fill yesterday of 3cc and so far I do not see a difference.
  3. Hi I had my surgery May 28th and I am walking daily. I've felt pretty good with no pains or soreness except today I am very sore. The soreness is in my abdomin, like I did too many situps (and I couldnt do any right now)... I walked about an hour yesterday... could I have possibly over did it? Should I take a break from walking so often? Or is this normal?? Thank you :bored:
  4. I have found a great protein powder call Jay Robb. You can buy it directly from the company.. I mix 1 scoop of it with my Carnation Instant Breakfast. I also have tried Unjury... thats pretty good too. Good Luck:rolleyes2:
  5. I had my surgery May 28th (thurs) and went to work for 1 day the following week and it wiped me out. I have an office job too. I think you should take at least 4-5 days off if you can just to be careful. I have my protein stuff in my desk drawers and a shake cup as well. Every monday I buy 1 gallon of milk and Im good to go. Good luck!!
  6. Hi I was banded on May 28th and I am a very outgoing person with a bubbly personality. Being a big woman I needed to have a great personality for people to want to talk to me and get to know me. Then they would be able to make a fair opinion of who I am... not just judge me from my appearance. Once they get to know me Im often told I have a great personality.. and a great person. My boyfriend is worried the weight loss is going to change me... as a person. I really dont know if I will change. I guess he is worried that I wont want to be with him b/c I will be losing weight and can get a new boyfriend. I dont meant to make this post so personal but just wondered if anyone else noticed changing in this manner.. perhaps new friends... more vain.... stuck up etc.
  7. Hi.. I know not a great topic, but I need advice. I am almost 2 weeks post op and I am having a tough time with constipation. I cannot find a happy medium to what works. Anyone have any tricks they'd like to share that may help.. thanks
  8. Where do you find an abdomen binder? and how do you know it will fit... is it one size fits all?
  9. I'm having my surgery May 28th. I am on day 5 of my liquid diet and surprisingly Im doing just fine. I am getting very excited!!
  10. I just got my surgery date May 28th. Its almost 3 weeks ... Im very excited.
  11. Good for you... Its a long journey but the reward will be amazing. I too am going to have lapband done. I have done 3 or the 4 required tests (appts). I hope to have surgery May 28th. Could you let me know your progress after surgery? Thank you Kathy
