  1. Thanks for everyones comments. I am making an appointment with my Family Doctor. I haven't had a fill or any adjustments since the end of July. I moved to an area in Louisiana where there aren't any doctors doing lap bands yet. I'm going back to Minnesota in April for a visit and will see my surgeon then also.
  2. I had my surgery in May 2008, I started at 216 pounds and now weigh 135. I've gone from a size 20 down to a 5/6. My problem is that I can't eat more than a few tablespoons of food at a time. I don't have a problem drinking and have lately not been eating very much, just drinking Boost. There are some days that one Boost is all that I can keep down. I don't feel bad at all. I had some blood work done at a health fair at my work, my triglycerides and cholesterol levels were all high. My blood sugar was fine. I'm confused by high levels and am wondering if I'm setting up myself for future problems. My mom has heart problems, kidney failure, and diabetes, so I'm getting a little worried. Has anyone else run into any problems with high levels in blood work?
