  1. I mix a scoop of Beneprotein (made by Nestle) in with cottage cheese each morning. I can't stand any of the shakes. Beneprotein has a slight taste but is masked if you mix with things like oatmeal, soups or chili. I ordered mine off of the Nestle website and I love it!
  2. I know exactly what you mean. I was banded on the 10th and this past week when I was started on mushie foods - I really feel like I can eat alot more food than I should. I have thought about going back to liquids but don't want to if I don't have to. Should I eat more or just live through the rumbling?
  3. Robin. Hey! Congrats! I was banded yesterday too. I agree this hurts. It is mainly the gas in my shoulders and neck. How about you? I feel like if I get a good massage then I would feel better. My Doc said to take it easy until the weekend and then I should be able to do a little more routine things but can't lift anything. I hope to stay in touch with you so we can share our journey.
  4. I am scheduled to be banded on 3/10. Is there a group of people that are going to be banded for that date? I am new to this site and I have not figured out how everything works.
  5. Hi. I am going to be banded on the 10th but I have friends who have already been banded and they were eating things like fat free pudding. Our Doc says that it really isn't about loosing weight right after surgery than it is to get your nutrients.
  6. I am with you guys......I am being banded on the 10th and I do have to say that I am getting really really nervous. Is this normal? I am worried and second guessing if I should do this or not. I have been so ready and excited until yesterday and now I am scared. Anyone else feel that way or did you feel that way prior to surgery?
