  1. Hello........ I am a little scared to start even asking questions because I am so overweight and afraid to even put myself out there. I have finally decided to have the surgery and now I think I have picked a surgeon. I live in Florida but I think that I will go to Texas for the surgery. I haven't told my husband but he thinks I'll be in Dallas shopping with friends. I attended a Lap Band Solutions presentation but feel like I am just a number to them. I have left 4 messages and had not received a call back. All I wanted is more information on the doctor that I chose from their website. So I am now asking the people on the Web. If you had surgery in Dallas who was your doctor and how did he treat you. I have read great things about Dr. Benavidez. Has anyone heard of anyway to have the surgery with him and not have to DEAL with Lapband Solutions. The people there are really not helpful and I don't want to go another hospital in WISE Texas???? My friend said it is really far. I think the days of treating people that are overweight horrible should be over. Please HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know if I can just GO DIRECTLY THROUGH THE doctors office???? I am afraid that if I have to deal with these people I am going to miss out on regaining my life!!! Please let me know what I should do. Thanks.
