  1. ultrasound? i've already seen my pcp and my ekg and echo are scheduled for august 23rd, my sleep apena study is this thursday and my cbc-tsh is ausgust 16th..i'm one of those people that wants to schedule all of my own appointments instead of WAITING for the nurse to do it, b/c sometime they are rather slow beings with all of the work they have to do with other patients that are just as important as me and i know this, so i like doing some things on my own.. just out of curoisity what doctor performs that test? oh and i also need a VENOUS DUPLEX, thats another doctor i suppose... and o already scheduled my own diet course that the suregon wants all his patients to attend for 160 bucks... so, so far so good.. i would like to have this done before december.. thanks all
  2. hi and thanks for replying, i talked to my new ob office today and they said that he is an "family doctor" as well and that the appointment that i will be having can also include a complete physical as well as an cbc.. so i'm hoping this will be a one stop thing, but to be on the safe side i will also be scheduling another appointment with another doctor later this month... never hurts to have "too much"... so thank you
  3. hi everyone, i have a question or two. i just moved to wilmington, nc from memphis, tn and i spoked to the weight lost doctor nurse today and she told me that when i attend the seminar(july 10) that i can schedule and appointment and things of that nature with the doctor for an consultation. but she said it all depends on how long it takes me to complete the packet and the test and that i would need a referral from my regular care doctor. ok i don't have a regular pcp as i just moved here.. i do however have a women's appointment schedule for in august, will an ob-gyn referral be good enough or MUST it come from a pcp only! thanks a lot i know it's a long journey before you actually have the surgery, but i'm just curious.. thanks in advance
  4. thank you both for replying... i would like mine tight.. LOL..but i will see and ask the doctor at the seminar... thanks and blessings
  5. hello again, i will be attending a seminar on july 10th(finally found it) and made sure that the seminar was still planned. thank God pretty much everything is covered by Blue Cross and both doctors are in my HMO list. but i've read so many of you all's post that i was wondering how often do you need to be FILLEd?... and congrat's to everyone that has had this done.. i'm currently 5'3 and weigh 300.. so i def.need this.. thanks
