I had my surgery on 3/5 and will go in for my first fill on 4/6. Even 3 weeks after surgery, I have had food stick on several occasions. You feel all of the above. Not fun. Does anyone know if this is normal? I should be back to normal , as far as the swelling goes, but I feel like I am already restricted. I've already lost 21 pounds in 3 weeks and I don't feel like I've been starving.

Hello Eveyone, I am getting banded on 3/5 at Scottsdale Bariatric by Dr. Robin Blackstone. I just had my last few tests done today and am ready to go. I began this process about 1 year ago. After going to classes, support groups and to see a psychologist, I was supposed to get banded last October. Unfortunately, when I had my stress test done preo-op, one of my arteries in my heart was found to be 70% blocked. I had a stent put in a few days later, am doing fine and now here I am again. It's good to know that it is finally happening, but at the same time it causes some nervousness. Any info anybody can give me about their experience before and right after their op would be great.
