  1. Hello all, my name is Amanda and I was recently banded on 2-25-09. I have had a lot of pain, but it seems to get better everyday. I had doubts about why I did this to myself directly after surgery, but now I am looking foward to each new day and getting this weight off once and for all. I started my journey at 330 pounds. On the pre op diet I lost 12 pounds, and since being banded on wednesday, I have lost 4 more. I am having pain in my chest near the bottom of my sternum, and I am wondering if that is normal. I am struggling to get all the liquid in too. I feel very weak and tired all of the time. Can anyone help me?
