It is probably just fluid retention. If you took in a lot of sodium the last few days it will happen. Don't let daily fluctuations bother you. Keep plugging away and it will drop off.

I too am self employeed and couldn't be down long. I went in on a Friday morning at 6am and was home by 3pm. I was a little sore but took no pain medications after leaving the hospital. I went in to work a little in the office on Sunday because I was bored stiff. Went back to work on Monday bright and early full time. I was sore some but it got much better each day and after about 4 days the soreness was gone. Good luck.

I had mine installed on the 13th of Feb. Went into the hosipal at 6am. Was home at 3pm that afternoon and never took any pain medication. I didn't need it. I was sore sitting down and getting up but it was more of a abdominal muscle soreness. This got better every day and finally went away completely after about 3 days.

I got my band on the 13th in Shreveport. Went to my first post op doctor's appointment today and lost 17 pounds in 13 days and I feel great. So far I am glad I did it.
