  1. Hi Congratulations! I was banded March 26th and am feeling great had no real pain or soreness except for where the port is. Was sore for about 2 days but pain free by Sunday the 28th. Went back to work the 29th. Today I cheated and ate some watery instant mashed potatos. No repercussions! I hope you are doing great.
  2. I totally understand! I was banded last Friday and with the2 weeks of preop and 1 week of post op shakes I have lost 26 lbs and am worried about too much weight too soon. I also have been hitting the gym everyday. My Doctor told me no restrictions except protein drinks only for the first 4 weeks. I messed up and ate some sugarfree jello during the last week and it did not bother me. I guess I thought it was all right because they gave it to me in the hospital after surgery.
  3. I got banded by Dr. Owens on 3/27/2009 smooth procedure very little pain. Dr Owens is a very nice man. From reading some of the horror stories on this site I was terrified. But it was so easy and went back to work 3 days after surgery.
