Well just to keep you updated. I was banded on 03/16/2009. I feel so good, had gas pains and a lil discomfort but i feel good. Question.... What kind of protien power do i buy and what is the best flavor to get. I go for my 2 week post -op appt on 4/2/2009. Im so glad i did decide to go with the band.

I WAS BANDED YESTERDAY 03/16/2009 AND I FEEL GREAT. MY SURGERY DIDN'T TAKE LONG AND I WAS UP WALKING AROUND THE SAME DAY. NO PAIN JUST A LIL DISCOMFORT WHEN STANDING AND LAYING DOWN. SOME GAS DISCOMFORT, NOT MUCH. I FEEL GREAT.:lunch:

I want to get pregnant next year 2010 after i get some weight off of me, i have some health issue's and my weight now is 355 pounds. I have two children now, but i got married in 2005 and my husband has no birth children of his own. He loves our two children our two boys ages 18 and 19, and the kids love there step-dad. I want to try for my girl. Wish us luck i get banded on March 16,09.

Hi to you all, I'm 33 years of age and im getting banded on 3/16/09 at 9:30 am. I have a wonderful support system, my husband and two children and other friends and family to. Im doing this for me, to help me get healthier and so i can be a bigger part of the fun things in life with my family like playing ball with my kids and jogging with my husband and etc.... Im so happy that i made the decision to get banded it will help me change my life for the better. Everyone remember the band is a tool to help us get the weight off, it's still up to us to be active and eat the right foods. To everyone who is getting a band in March good luck.:hurray:

Im being banded 3/16/09, with Dr Lucktong being my Doctor who is performing my surgery. All of us March banders need to keep each other lifted up and updated on each others progress. So what is going to be the March banders name, hope everyone has a positive outlook going in and coming out of surgery.

Kelintx, thanks and i will keep you updated on my upcoming surgery. My weight is 355 as of my last weigh in at my doctors office, but my home scale as of today says im 351 pounds. I want to lose 160 pounds. Thanks and keep in touch and also tell me about your progress on your band.
