  1. Thanks for answering. My pain is usually after i eat and it's all the time. I went to Gastro doctor, Rheumatoid doctor, they all stated it was band related. nothing serious but they stated it was a side effect of this operation. I was just curious if anyone else had it. It usually goes away about an hour after i eat but it's constant and everytime i eat. I guess the solution would be not to eat anymore but that's why i got the lap band in the first place. 4 months since accident. down 43 lbs. The pain i get in my left side is worth it at this time. Good luck to you with your pain. Hope you do well.
  2. I have had the lap band done since 8/08. I have developed pretty bad pain by the left bottom rib area. My doctor tells me that it's common with the lap band since the stomach lies on the left side. Does anyone else have this and any suggestions how to deal with it?
