I am scheduled for lapband placement on March 3, 2009 in Phoenix Arizona! OMG I don't think I have been this scared and excited at the same time in my entire life. I have a wonderful family that has supported me the entire way. They would not let me give up on myself, even when fear set in! Ok, I am new to all of this but please bare with me. I am so worried about getting approved for lap band through blue cross blue shield of arizona. I have documents from the past 15 years (jenny craig, weight watchers, and diet doctors that give meds) but my BMI is only 38.7 and I don't have any other medical problems. Do you think I am going to be turned down because their rules are 40 BMI or less than 40 but with other factors? I dont have any other medical problems that I know of.:mad2:
