I am 7 days post op. I felt really good yesterday not alot of pain going on and then today my stomach is just hurting. Maybe i overdid it yesterday!? I am back to work but taking it easy... Anyone else have this problem..? DOWN 14 lbs SO FAR!~

I was banded on 3-4 also, and today has been the best day so far. I am still having port (dull) pain when i bend or sit a weird way. Also the gas pain comes and goes but when i have it it is horrible.. Any ideas how long this gas pain will last?

Congratulations to everyone on their BAnd-Day! I am on day 4 post surgery, I can honestly say it has not been all that bad... I have not gotten sick at all and my incisions are healing great! I am only having some chest pain now which is normal and a little gas pain in my shoulder which the gas x strips really help (make sure u take to the hospital with you) and last night i slept all through the night without waking up 4 or 5 times.... GOod LuCk to Everyone! Oh and by the way I am down 14.5 total but 7lbs from the morning of my surgery! YEAH Me!:confused:

Hello Everyone, I had my band surgery on wed. march 4th. So right now i am 2 days post op and feeling a little better then yesterday.. Yesterday i was really sore, the tylenol and ibuprofen were not really killing the pain... I have lost a total of 5 lbs post op and 7 lbs on the pre op diet. So i am down a total of 12 lbs... yeah ME! Good luck to everyone!

My surgery day is wednesday the 4th and i am very nervous! I have never had surgery before and that is what is really scary for me.. I have been doing really good on the pre op diet, it was really hard at first but by day 4 it was a piece of cake. I am excited about losing some of this extra weight and start feeling healthy! I hope everyone has lots of success with their surgery. Go Team MArch 2009!

Hello to all, My name is Erin and i am having my first appointment with Dr. Vincent Lusco (in Louisville, KY ) tomorrow and I am a little frightened and excited. After tomorrows appt. the following week is my pre ope testing and the surgery will be the following week. Any info on the pre op testing, what am I in for, etc.. I keep hearing alot about erosion of the band does anyone know is this normal? Right now i am at my highest weight 260lbs and I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) Anyone else have pcos and been banded? Any information will help me . Thanks
