  1. HI, No I have not found a surgeon yet but I am signed up for two seminars. Thanks for Asking, Grndmthrof5
  2. :rolleyes:Hi, As listed I am over weight and over 60. Right now I have very few helth issues but if I don't control this over eating that is going to become a problem. I can not change my age but I would very much lick to change the over weight part. I have not willingly had my picture taken for years and I don't make contact with old friends and dread seeing anyone I used to know 10 years or more ago. I have tried all kinds of diets and stuff but am not willing or able to stick with anything but I am definatly ready to stop living this way and would like to be more sociable and enjoy a lot that I now miss. I recently had dinner with a friend and she shared with me she had lapband 3 years ago and is very happy with the result. She lives out of state ( I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area). If anyone lives in my area and would like to suggest a doctor to use I would be very grateful. I live near Fort Worth but am willing to travel to Dallas for surgery. I would love to know what most people pay for their surgery I have read on the internet from $9,900 to $15,000 since I will be paying out of pocket I would of coarse like to pay the lowest but that is not alway the best way to go. Thanks for listening and responding if you can, Grndmthrof5
