    Hi, Heartburn (GERD, Acid Reflux, Pyrosis) could be just a minor discomfort after eating a heavy meal or it could be a chronic condition affecting quality of your life. This site was created based on my personal experience living with chronic heartburn and acid reflux. Usually doctors refer to it as GERD or Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease. Once GERD appeared in my life several years ago I thought that my life has changed and there is no turning back.
