I had sent out a couple of emails for get togethers but there didn't seem to be much interest. I'd love to get it going again.
Want to meet at Starbucks in Leesburg one night next week? (The one by Stein-Mart)
Trish
It's not a bad as it sounds. Pre-Op the first 2 days will be rough but that's the worst of it. Keep giving your body proiten every couple of hours and you'll be ok. Repeat after me...."Short-term concession for a long-term gain".
Post-op you will not feel like eating but try to make sure you get enough Water. You have to stay hydrated.
Best of luck!!
I had somethig that didn't agree with me last night (Onion Soup) and ended up throwing up fairly violently (Much worse than the times I've had something stuck) Today I have some pain where I suspect my band is so I've stayed with liquids and mushies today to see if that helps.
Is this normal? and will it subside or could my band have slipped? (Is that what the pain is?) I'll probably call the Dr in the am. Just wanted to check on here first.
Thanks.
Hi Beth,
I'm a bander in Ashburn and I meet up with some other local banders every month or so. We'll go to dinner and movie, hang out and chat, etc. I think our next meet up will be a pot luck and games night. Please give me your email address and I can include you in the next invite. Thanks.
Trish
I was banded 01/23 and had my first fill 3/9 (currently down 34 lbs) I can still eat fairly large portions (which scares me!!) and find I'm getting hungry pretty often. Is this normal? I currently have 3cc in my band. I'm supposed to go back in 4 weeks for an adjustment. How many fills before you get to the right level?
Thanks!
