    Hello fellow Bandsters! So glad to have finally found a group. I was banded on December 11. I didn't have much trouble with the actual surgery, but got the flu immediately upon going home. Bummer! Missed all of Christmas in bed. Plus my blood sugar went way wacky on me. I have lost 25 lbs. so far, but look forward to the day when I can finally beat this diabetes thing. A couple of odd things about post-op. Anyone lose some of their sense of taste? Nothing tastes the same to me any more. A lot of my food cravings are gone too.
