  1. It will be a year since my surgery on the 13th. I too am a little disapointed in my weight loss. I've lost 54 pounds but have been stalled for the past 7 months. My doctor told me to eat more calories (I wasn't getting more that 700-800) and to make sure I get close to 100 grams of Protein a day. STILL no loss. Some days I can eat quite a lot, and other days everything gets stuck or comes back up. I agree with the scrambled eggs tho---they just don't go down anymore!
  2. Rice and I just don't get along anymore---and I LOVE (LOVED) sushi.
  3. I stalled for nearly 4 months. My doctor told me to increase my protein, but it didn't help. I started keeping track (calories, fat, fiber & protein) of everything I ate and was shocked to find out I was only eating 700-800 calories a day. When I increased my calories, I started losing again.
  4. I am in the same boat as you are. I've lost 50 pounds since last Ausust, but I've been unable to lose any more for four months. Well, let's just say I've lost and gained the same two pounds for the last four months! I'll be so "right on" and gain, then sometimes I'll "fudge" and be down the two. It's weird. I'm going in for a fill tomorrow to see if that will help. I'm beginning to doubt everything I do--and am getting scared that I won't lose the next 50.
  5. Thank you, thank you, thank you---your post was JUST what I needed. I'm a very slow loser and always have been. I thought the lapband would be my answer and the pounds would fly off. Not so. I am going to try every hint you gave. I can hardly wait to stop at the store on my way home and get the "proper" groceries. You've renewed my hope! A Washingtonian!
  6. Is it a drink, bar, tablet---what type of supplement? I really need a change too!
