  1. I got mine from Lauren'sHope.com. They are a bit spendy, but I am the crafty type and can use that for a sample so I can make some of my own that are interchangeable. Also, you can find some others at www.americanmedical-id.com. I was told that paramedics will not search through a wallet for a card. One prime example: I had to go to the ER via ambulance for kidney stones a couple of weeks ago...and the one of the first things the paramedics and the ER team asked was what my bracelet was for. Made me feel good to know that they do look for that. Just in case because one never knows.
  2. Yes, I am still a newbie and I am understanding the terms and ackronyms.....except for this one. Please excuse the ignorance and enlighten me. Thanks so much.
  3. Thanks for all of your insight. This is the best website I have found to have questions answered by the people who have actually done this. Thanks again and best wishes in meeting your goals.
  4. I am 2 weeks post-op. I have tried drinking the protein shakes as prescribed. I have tried about 10 different kinds and all have the same effect. I have been in to see the doc (Monday) and he told me to get my water/Crystal Light since I can stomach those. I am looking for some help. I am at the liquid stage and not supposed to eat anything as of yet. I can't even do jello. I have been in bed for these two weeks with limited/very short outings because I have no energy. Any brilliant insight you can bestow upon me? I am having tons of trouble finding my smile right now. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
