How did everything go for you in Mexico? I am scheduled with Dr. Ortiz on March 30. What did you use for your proof of citizenship? I have my drivers license and birth certificate, but I am wondering if there will be problems because my bc is naturally in my maiden name. I am traveling alone and am wondering if reentry to the US is going to be a problem. Have the fills with Dr. Rohrer worked for you. I contacted their office and I hope that I end with the brand he will fill. I start my pre-op diet tomorrow. How have things been going for you? I live in florence which is about 20 miles south of Missoula. I grew up near Roundup. k

My first post, so here we go... Several months ago I met a truely inspiring person, Stephani, who had had lapband surgery over a year ago. As a single parent of 5 daughters and on a teacher's salary I NEVER thought I would be able to afford surgery. But Stephani helped me to see that I was worth it, so I went to the bank and got a loan and even got the payments affordable. My surgery is scheduled for March 30 with Dr. Ortiz in Mexico, incidently March 30th is also my 50th birthday. Naturally I am excited and nervous. Unfortunately, I will probably be making the trip on my own. Most of my daughters either are in college/school or living back east. The daughter who could take time to go, thinks I am crazy for traveling to Mexico with all the travel warnings. But I really didn't have an option, $7300 in Mexico vs $17,000 in the states. So thanks again for Stephani, and wish me luck. k
