I am 33 years old married with two children.  I was always small all the way through high school UNTILL I went on the birth control and then old hell broke loose, went from 125 to about 155 when I graduated.  I got pregnant that year and went in to have my first child and hit the scale at 200 yes I thought I needed to eat for two.  My gram made me cookies I swear everyday..that didn't help, they were to good to resist. From then I never went below 200 if I did it wasn't for very long.  I started the lapband process at 241 and stayed there until I meet with the nutritionist.  I was not eating a lot but the things I was eating just weren't right for me. The day I left there I started doing the things that she suggested that I do, and started dropping the weight, I wasn't doing it on my own my husband had started too.
