  1. This is my first time posting. However, I was banded on Jan. 9, 2009. The first couple of days were a little tough for me, could barely make myself drink. I was extremely gassy and was unable to pass it until Monday. I'm glad I found this site for support and answers. Through it all, my husband has been a saint. So much so, he won't let me get up to do much of anything. I think this may have slowed down my progress, since I wasn't moving around much. All in all, 4 days post-op and I am ready to go back to work. I'm looking forward to my new life!
