  1. I am feeling much better. I went shopping today and went to the gym tonight. I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes and felt great afterwards. The first 2 days were the toughest, but I feel great now.
  2. I am feeling much better today. The first day was kinda rough....to be expected. I can't wait for the ON-Q medicine ball to be over with. I'm a little concerned whether it will hurt or not. The doctor said it will not hurt, so I hope she is right since I have to remove the tube myself. Can someone share their experience?
  3. How is your pre-op diet going? I am on day 5 and it isn't too bad. The first couple days were the hardest. I stopped drinking soda at the same time, so I had a headache for the first few days, but now I'm good.
  4. No. I am not on the pre-op diet yet. I go see my doctor on Tuesday and I'm sure she will have more details then. It is all happening pretty quick. I just started the process in January, so I am happy with how fast this is going.
  5. Yay! I am so excited. I just got the call that I have been approved for my surgery and I am scheduled for April 10th. Anyone else scheduled for this date? Now I am nervous....and very excited! :lunch: tbryant1216
  6. Hello, I am seriously considering having the Lap Band Surgery. I go to a seminar on January 20th to get more info. I stumbled across this site and I LOVE it. There is so much great info here. I have an office job and I was wondering how long it would take to get back to work. I have heard that it is about 1-2 weeks. Also, how long is the hospital stay? I'm sure I will learn all this info at the seminar, but I can't wait that long. :tongue2: Thanks, tbryant1216
