I have been overweight all my life and it was not by much untill after I had my son. That s when I blew up like a balloon and tried several ways to loose weight and was not sucessfull untill the lapband, Which was performed by Dr Garcia (Allentown PA) on January 13th 2009. He really explained thing to me in detail that I was not even worried about my surgery one bit and had very few questions for him. I stayed in the hospital one night @ St Lukes Hospital in Allentown and everyone was very good to me. I had some discomfort from the gas up in my shoulders other than that I had no complications during my surgery or after. The most I ever weighed was 256lbs and since Januray 13th I have ost a total of 45 lbs and I now weight 211 lbs. I feel good and can do more things with engery. I go my local YMCA and work out 3 days a week and that is a big help when work out. Thank you DR Garcia.
