  1. I did go to Dr Rodriquez. And they were fabulous. You HAVE to say hello to Jarvier (big tall nurse that speaks the best English) and tell him Cheryl from last month is down 26lbs! He is great. I will send you my contact information privately. Feel feel to call ANYTIME if you get this prior to leaving. I would be happy to tell you about my experience. Cheryl
  2. Hi there. Looks like we started around the same time. Are you in the Chicago area? Feel free to contact me at cjstrickland69@hotmail.com. Cheryl
  3. Ha..ok, I am too new. That was funny!
  4. That would be great. It would be nice to maybe grab a bite to eat with people that are ok with ordering (possibly splitting) apps. lol My email is cjstrickland69@hotmail.com. Maybe we can exchange contact info and see if anyone else responds and wants to join in.
  5. That would be great! Sounds like you and I started around the same time. my email address is cjstrickland69@hotmail.com.
  6. Dr. Hekier. Thank you so much! I hadn't discovered "forums" yet. That was exactly what I needed. This site is a little overwhelming.
  7. Hi all, I am newly banded and live in Edgewater (NE Chicago). Does anyone know of a group in Chicago proper that gets together for support and healthy socializing? I am not out in the burbs very often. Cheryl
  8. Hi Shampoo. Is there really a Chicago Badsters meet-up? I don't see any replies on this thread, but just got banded and would love to meet other folks on this journey. Cheryl
  9. Just wanted to jump on and introduce myself. I was banded in Juarez, Mexico on Dec 5th, 2008. I was 216 day of surgery and am now at 192. I hope to find other bandsters in the area for support, supportive socializing and dialogue around fills, etc. Hope to hear from you all soon
