  1. Hey pfrance! Sorry for the delayed response as I have been on vacation. I really haven't done anything special with my diet. I have just followed instructions given to me by my doctor. I got my last fill on April 13th, and just like in February, it got swollen and I couldn't get ANYTHING down at all. But I called, and they told me to give it a few days. Boy, am I glad that I did. Now I feel awesome restriction and am starting to drop between 2 and 3 pounds a week again. It is great! I hope to reach my 75 pound goal by the end of May. After reading everyone's posts, it seems like we are all doing good. I too hit a plateau in February and didn't lose anything for four weeks. One key thing that I always remember is the exercise. I actually went and bought a puppy, and since she has to be walked for a minimum of two hours a day, I can guarantee myself at least two hours of exercise a day! I'm really glad that we are all doing great! Let's keep it up!
  2. Hello Everyone! Was just dropping a note to see how everyone is doing with their bands and new lives? What problems have you had? Any success stories? Please share!! Banded - 12/19/08 Highest - 325 lbs. Current - 268 lbs. Goal - 150 lbs. Have had 4 fills, and 1 unfill...Currently 4.4 cc in a 10cc band.
  3. I'm in also! I was banded on Dec 19th '08 and I think that it is very strange that we are all on different stages of what food we can eat. I know that it is based on doctor's but geez! I was on liquids for two weeks prior to surgery, then liquid for 7 days after surgery, then soft foods for the next 7 days, and finally on solid foods. I began to eat normal food on Jan 2nd and I have still lost 30 pounds as of this morning since Dec 5th (pre-op diet). I'm curious if there are any others that have been given the same direction???
