  1. Congratulations on taking the first step!! I had my lap band surgery in June 2008 & I truely believe it has been a life saver for me. I was 120 lbs overweight and have currently lost 77 lbs with lots more to go. I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol and was born to a family with many heart conditions. Having this surgery has changed my life. I currently have come off my bp medication, and for the first time in my "adult" life have my cholesterol under control. Also, for the first time in a long time, I am excited about going shopping. Best of luck in the next upcoming events. This is only the beginning and I can't say that it gets any easier, but the payoff is worth it. I can't wait to hear about your successful weightloss.
  2. 35 lbs is something to be proud of!! As you know, the weight doesn't just fall off. I don't know about you, but I have battled weight pretty much my whole life and this has defiantely been a life changing event for me. My friends and family are all in "aw" about my change too. Thank you for your response so quickly.
