add me, hit 100 pounds this morning! six months and 5 days after surgery:biggrin:

I was banded on Jan.8,2009 to date I have lost 82 pounds :sad: I have had two fills so I have a total of 5.5cc's in my 10cc band. I have slowed way down on how fast I'm losing now, down to 2-4 pounds over a two week period. Wondering if it is time for another fill Congrats to everyone on their loss so far :thumbup:

Help, It has been a week and a half since I had my first fill. I have a 10cc band which had 3cc's in it at surgery time, then a total of 5cc's after first fill. I have less ristriction now it seems then before the fill. Is this normal, I haven't gained any weight, but have stopped losing. How long should I wait to see if this fill is working or should I schedule another fill? Any info would be great... Pre-op diet started 12/25/08 weight 304 Surgery Jan 8, 2009 weight 287 First fill total 5cc 02/20/09 weight 269 Today March 4,2009 weight 268

Thanks for the info. I exercise for 30 min. every day at least. I don't drink a half hour before eating or usually an hour after eating. I did not do two days of liquids and mushies after my fill, the Dr. told me just to do liquids the first day then back to normal food the next day.

I really miss my Diet Dr.Pepper :bored: My Dr. said to avoid using a straw for 3 months, then after that it should be fine.

Wow, that is along time, I started my journey in late Oct. 08 and was banded Jan. 8th 09. :wink2: So far so good I have lost 30 pounds between the pre-op liquid diet and now. I'm still five weeks out from an feel, and starting to get hungry!

I also had my surgery on the 8th of Jan. I still have the pain around the port area, :Dancing_wub: and also have pain in between my shoulders which I still think is gas. Between the pre-op diet and now I have lost 30 pounds hope it keeps going. :wink2: Started mushy foods last Thursday and have really noticed the hunger since then, have to wait 5 more weeks for a fill.:Dancing_wub:

I leave for the hospital in 15 minutes, my surgery is in two hours,everyone wish me luck please. :thumbs_up:

Thanks for all the best wishes. So far so good, threw up twice in the hospital, but finally got out at around 4:30 p.m. that afternoon. My Dr had to fix a hernia at the same time, so I'm really sore. Finally was able to relieve some gas this morning. I'm suppose to be on full liquids till I see Dr. on the 15th. Having trouble getting all of my water and protein in plus food any suggestions?:tongue2:

My surgery is also on the 8th of Jan. I had to start a liquid diet on Christmas day.:confused: So far it is going well, just getting really nervous.:cursing: I hope yours goes well.
