    Anyone have symptoms of diverticulitis right after surgery? I have burning pain in lower left abdomen-getting worse. I am planning on calling doctor tomorrow but can't do anything today. Any advice?

    I am 5 days out. I had surgery on the 19th. I am wondering if anyone else has had pain below sutures. I have a burning pain 4-5 inches below port. It hurts a lot when I first stand or bend over. I want to know if this is common-my doctor said most people return to work in 2 days. I never would have been able to do this.
