  1. Hi Viv, Thanks for posting! I just found this website today, and I could really do with a bit of mentoring. I was banded about three years ago, and I haven't done very well. I was 106 kg pre-band, and I'm now 94. Which after three years is just poor on my part. Unfortuntely, I like all the wrong foods and drinks. I often over-eat and then throw up (which is really embarrasing for a bloke to say I've re-focused and have started another low GI diet (again). I dread to think what weight I would have been without the band, so I'm not at all sorry I have it. Was your journey a steady weight loss to your goal? Cheers, John
