  1. Well, lets see I was banded on Feb. 12 after a false start in Dec. (became sick and unable to have the surgery) I just feel that I am stuck. Not with my decission, but with my weight loss. I just don't seem to be lossing like I should. I watch my calories, get my protein and drink my water. Since I am not working until Sept. I am spending a lot of time cleaning, organizing, and working out doors. Perhaps more walking word be helpful but it is so hot and at night I dont want to walk alone. Keep Trying!!!

  3. Thanx I will remember that. After 2 days of my 3 days I came down with bronchitus (damn CA weather) and so I had to postpone my banding until I am better. Since I see what I am up against I will be better prepared for the next time. Do you recommend anything special with the Special K20 in the way of flavor? Chilled or ice cold? Diluted?
  4. But when you are on a clear liquid diet there isn't much to have. Protein shakes are not clear.
  5. I've been drinking chicken noodle soup minus the noodle and chicken. I thought I wasnt going to be able to continue since I have a sinus infection. My Dr. said that it was still OK. Good thing I didn't sneak any FOOD.
  6. :tongue_smilie:I am being banded on the 2oth. Luckily my surgeon only requires 3 days of clear liquids but I am having a tough time with broths and soups. I am also having the nagging thoughts.... AM I DOING THE RIGHT THING!!!" Can you give me some ideas as to what you have been eating?
  7. No I am staying over night but we all know that you never get any rest in the hospital. Was this done at a large hospital?
  8. I was supposed to be on The 23 but he wants to leave on vacation so I get Saturday. Will you be staying in over night? I just told my children this week about it so that they wouldn't have to worry when I wasn't home. Good luck and I guess when we are done we can compare.
  9. Im on Saturady. You? Where are you located?
  10. Thanx for the information. How was it having it done in UK? Did they have you complete a 6 month class and a psych eval? How has your recover time been?
  11. As my title shows I have 6 days before my surgery. Some people think that the holidays are not the best time but since I have 2 weeks off to recover it is best for me and to keep my secret from others at work. I don't think I was this nervous when I was married!! Will I succeed? Will I regret doing this? How much will I be able to lose? Will I be happy with my decission? QUESTIONS>>>>> I know I will be successful-But I do have to be honest. I hear stories and wonder. I look forward to reading possitive and helpful responses.
