  1. Hi People, Just a quick intro about myself, I live in Australia and I was banded over 6 years ago, am on my 3rd port, had a few ups and downs on the journey but have never ever regretted taking the plunge. I started off at 104kg and am now at 68kg, never felt better or dare I say sexier. My self esteem has risen and with it my interest in how I look, clothes no longer have to be the "hide within variety", close fitting and a little daring are the go now, those baggy T's make wonderful dusters. For all of you who are starting out, just take one day at a time and enjoy the kgs disappearing, hurdles do come but we have to remember our goals and that they are obtainable. Many thanks for allowing me to join your community. Lois
