  1. My name is Jenn, and I am 6 weeks post-op today! I am excited to have found a place that is centered on the lap-band, because the recommended support groups from my doc where 99% gastric bypass. I have lost 41 pounds so far, and I am waiting on my first fill next week. I wish I had done this surgery years ago! I look forwar to meeting new people on here, and getting some great tips!!
  2. Hi everyone, my name is Jen, and one of my friends suggested this site to me after we discussed the lapband procedure. I have been considering gastric bypass, but am very nervous, as I know a few people that have had major complications from it. I have PCOS, and have gained probably 175+ lbs in the past 4 years. I have the extra hair on my chin- so embarassing:o - and I can not get pregnant. I am going to be 26 next month, and I desperately want to do something about my weight, and my PCOS. I am still pretty unclear as to the whole surgery/procedure, so if anyone can give me any info., or the name of a doctor in the So. Cal.- Orange County- area, it would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks Ladies! Jen
