working after a morning endoscopy?

I just had my endoscopy this past friday. It was 1st thing in the morning and I didn't feel normal (not groggy/drugged) until 8 hours later. I don't think I would have been able to make it to work. I was like you and want conserve my PTO days, but I would take a day off for the procedure. -
