  1. Just wanted to toot my horn a bit. I've been feeling quite good lately about my weight loss and just needed to Celebrate. And I'm sure my pals are sick of hearing about the little weekly tedium weight loss. But I'm about 25 lbs away from my goal and couldn't feel better. Bring on summer and the bathing suits!
  2. I am on October 23 girl. Went in for the first fill today and doc and I agreed I didn't really need it. Never truly hungry and stay very close to all the eating restrictions. I've lost 26 lbs so far. Doc was impressed at the success. I'm finding I don't recognize myself in the mirror or pics. It's nice but a little emotional for me.
  3. I've seen consistent weight loss since my surgery on 10/23. But it's been slow going. Not as much as I'd hoped. Not discouraged though, really. I'm scheduled for a fill Friday too. And so looking forward to it. I'm finding I need more food/protein shakes to feel full. So I think the fill is much needed.
  4. I had the same problem. Once I felt like I could be off the pain meds, the port pain was rampant. I found sleeping reclined a bit surrounded by excessive pillows cured me of wanting to sleep on my side. The pain for me has since subsided. But I found, simply gently rubbing the site, almost massaging it, helped remove any twinges of hurt. That and more pain meds! Hope that helps.
