  1. Hi! I'm new to the site, but not the band. I was banded on 9/1/05 and was down 74 lbs at my lowest point. At the beginning of this year, I thought I could "take a break" and stopped going to the doctor. Although I didn't go back to fried foods or completely "off the wagon", I did stop paying attention. The result was an increase of 17 lbs. I've taken 11 lbs off since July, but need to get serious. I thought I would give this site a try as additional support. I have several close friends who have been banded, ironically because I got mine. But I think new discussions may help, so thanks in advance.:cursing:
