I just read a doctors website and this was his quote "Bariatric surgery is a non-covered benefit for all Ohio Medicaid products that we have encountered. " Has everyone experienced this? If you have medicaid in Ohio and have been banded how did you do it?? THANkS!

first of all I do need SO MUCH help with how to get approved by medicaid. I feel so confused! Hello All. I live in Ohio, and I am on medicaid. I have Buckeye community health plan does anyone know if they will cover WLS (band) and what doctors take medicaid? I have hit this wall of not being able to find people that will take medicaid??! I am just in the beginnign stages of this process but I am getting weary searching. Can anyone help?
