  3. I have told 1 co-worker, wife, children and their spouses and my parents My son in law and daughter are trying to talk me out of it. At work I brought it up two years ago and they said I didn't need to do that. I was 313 lbs. Know my insurance will cover it. Dec 3 the paper work will be submitted. I hope so badly that they will accept and schedule me right away. My co-worker friend she's a nurse and gives good advice, she is the only one at work that knows. Others are asking questions though. Wanting to know whats up? I don't want anyone to know because I think they judge you. Blessings bearbelly
  4. Hi Debbie, You're so right, music does keep us sane. I'm new here started my journey back in April 2008 need to drop over 100 lbs. In Dec my paper work will be submitted to ins. I so badly want this surgery. I just hope I'm not turned down. Music is a spiritual thing to me, I believe all music is a form of worship and that everyone has a song in them to bless another. As far as gigs I play four to six times a year and get paid for it. I also volunteer to play at senior centers, CBRF's and nursing homes often. I work in mental health and play weekly there too. I enjoy music of all kinds but my favorite is Native American Flute and other world flute music. I play the NAF and currently own about 200 flutes. My objectives are to be able to play any and all flutes of the world. I also hope to release my first cd very soon. I enjoy teaching people how to play and express themselves with the flute. I lead a flute circle in Baraboo, WI called SPIRIT LAKE FLUTE CIRCLE. Started back in 2005 website is www.spiritlakeflutecircle.com I’ve been playing for just over 4 Also play many other instruments Sing with your flute, and give thanks for another day.
