How long have you been banded? Dr. Ortiz told me his slip rate was low. His rep told me that she had a band slip but it was the old band and not the new Inamed band. She said if you have a slip it is usually 2 years out. I seem to be too tight after a fill and honestly I take it so easy after a fill. Usually just Soup for a couple of days. I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. Dr. Malley says we will find my "soft spot" and I sure hope it is soon. My last fill was so tight that I could taste some of the soup after I ate it but as soon as he took some out that feeling disappered. Did you pb a lot or was it more of a throw up. Mine is more like a throw up and it happens FAST. I would hate to have my band slip as I paid cash for it. I sure do "feel" for you. Hang in there. Let us know how it goes.

Dr. Malley is very genuine and I too am a medical professional. I am a registered radiation therapist and I think he is wonderful. He took me in and I was banded in Tijuina Mexico. I feel lucky to have him.

Dr. Malley is in a new really nice office and the address is 5820 Lamar, Suite 200, Mission KS. Just take I-35 to the Lamar exit. IT is easy to find him. He is wonderful. He took me in for fills and I had my band placed by Ariel Ortiz in Tijuina. I am lucky to have him as my doc. Just call Darlene @ 913-492-2530 Malley Surgical Weight Loss Center. I drive down from St. Joseph and that is so much nicer than flying south. He is a little shy at first but then as he gets to know you he visits a little more.

They say Dr. Dunshee in Topeka does them for less. I went to Dr. Ortiz in Tijuina as he was $9,500 and Dr. Malley does my fills. I think he charges $16,500 for cash paying customers. I love Dr. Malley but just could not afford that price. Good Luck!
