    Hi! Been banded for 2 years (on September 13, 2006) and just this month hit my goal weight of 145 pounds (am 5'8"). I was banded in Monterrey, Mexico by Dr. Arturo Rodriguez. I am actually flying back for his patient reunion in December and having my band loosened since goal weight hit--total of 70 pounds. I love this band! I do have a lap band web site that is www.thebariatric.com (is actually Dr's, but former patients talk on there which is supportive like it is here). Looking forward to talking to fellow bansters! Amy
