hey firedol! I have not had my first fill yet. I will have it on the 13th of Jan. I hope I feel restriction. on the day of surgeryi weighed in at 233 at my home and now I'm 223-225 it ranges so i feel i should have lost more. Inches are better than the scale. we were both banded on 11/24 as well. How much did you loose? Evelyn:thumbup:

Hi there! I'm not too sure. I am 1 day post of not even 24hrs out. The post op gas pain is generally a left shoulder pain, which will go away with walking. Are you sipping your drink? Because i've noticed when I gulp it just sits there like a brick too. Try sipping your drink. Also, you are still swollen in the inside I was told by my surgeon it will take about 4weeks for most of the swelling to go down and might not be able to drink too much at one time..just sips. hi Julie! I'm new as well. I am scheduled for Lap band on nov 24th. I meet with the surgeon tomorrow for my pre-op lecture I guess. hehe. I will then receive my instructions on the liquid diet which Im really eager about so that I can purchase what I need and be prepared. I am an RN and I work 12hr shifts (busy) and need to prepare foods and such. Keep me posted on your surgery date and I will post tomorrow on how my appt went. Dolphin

Hello there! I was wondering. Have you been banded yet? If so, how long before you returned to work? Are you an RN? I am working in the ICU and so far I've only requested 1 week off of work because I do not know exactly how much time I will need. let me know what your experience is? dolphin:wink_smile:

Hello everyone! I have my pre-op appt tomorrow with the surgeon and there I will receive my instructions on clear liquid diet. I'm nervous, excited and scared all at the same time. My band date is on the 24th so that is 11days on liquid diet b4 surgery.

Thank you for this information I will look it up and more than likely go ahead and order those 22 different flavors. So far have you found a flavor you like?

My surgery date is November 24th!! I'm sooo excited, nervous, not scared. Just ready for this to be over with!!! On monday the 10th I have my pre-op appt at the hospital then the 12th pre-op with surgeon I'm dying to know what the diet is prior to surgery!!! :eek:
