I'm 11. Does anyone know about anyone else that young? Lesley

I was banded around march 8. I've lost approx. 30 lbs. since then. Live in dallas (plano to be exact) and Dr. Jayaseelan did the surgery. He is one of few who does the surgery on teens and kids. I'm probably one of the youngest (11) but had my 2nd fill 1 week ago.

There is a site on the internet that shows the surgery and also answers questions. Go to google and type in lap band and will come up eventually.

not sure if this helps, but I was having trouble throwing up in the middle of eating. I would get a painful tight feeling in my chest and would get sick. I found out that I need to chew better and it take a mylanta chewable before each meal. Lesley

Because I'm going to middle school in August and want to be able to fit in the desks. Not to mention changing in gym, and wearing the clothes everyone else wears.
