  1. Hi! Im in Lincoln Park, Chicago. I was banded in March 2007 and have lost 50 pounds so far. I have another 15 to go. My surgery was done at Day One Health by Dr. Meyers. I am still trying to figure it all out, as well as figure out how to use this site. I'm glad I stumbled on this site, as I have been doing this alone since my surgery.
  2. I went in for a fill and was told by the doctor that I had developed a small pouch. He wouldn't give me a fill. I was told to eat more slowly and smaller bites. He will check on the situation in 2 weeks. Will they have to remove the band? What causes a pouch? Can it be reversed? I have lost 50 pounds since my banding and rely on the fill to help me feel satisfied. Right now, I am hungry all the time. Has anyone else had this happen to them? What happened and how did you deal with it. Thanks...
