Sue0129 got a reaction from SeattleLady in Aetna GB revisionSO I am being seen next week for evaluation to revise my 10 year lap band to a gastric sleeve.
Does anyone know if Aetna requires even the revisional patients to follow the 6 month nutrition plan requirement? I know i did it the first time jut not sure what is different with the revision.

Sue0129 reacted to SusieQ2019 in April 2019 Surgeries!In 2008 I went down to 180lbs, from a supervised weight diet. In 2010 I give birth and went up to around 250lb. The lowest I've been since was 222. At 260lb I went to a bariatric session in October last year.
I am really looking forward to this surgery

Sue0129 reacted to FatGhoul in Inpatient approval taking foreverI just need to vent. Insurance approved my surgery but I have BCBSTX, so there's a separate approval for surgery and for the actual inpatient hospital stay. They have been saying the inpatient approval is pending for over a week now. My surgeons office is hounding them too. Why approve the surgery so quickly but then waffle on the hospital stay needed for it? Argh! I just wanna get my official surgery date already.
